Are you trying to read audio off DDS tapes?  90% of the tapes I have xfered with my Sony SDT-9000s have been DDS tapes and the only time I have had issues is when A-Time is not on the tape as some programs won't read tapes when no A-Time is on the tape.

Dear H²O,

Yes, I'm trying to red audio off DDS Tapes.
Could you tell me when no A-time is on the tape?

Could you tell me when the absolute time is not been written originally?

Yours sincerely.
Robert
