Title: Audix ADX-40's / do I cut down the very long cables for stealth only ?
Post by: igene on March 16, 2011, 04:46:29 PM
I have a set for sale in YS and want to know if I should cut down and re-terminate the cables for stealth use ?

They are 30' long, good for a stand (and then some).
Perhaps the length is scaring folks away.
Should I prep it for stealth use ?

please help.
opinions needed.

I'd think it's easier to remove/shorten cable than to add it, no?  I'd leave it.  Someone can chop it to suit their needs for cheap if they want short.

My vote is for leaving them.  If someone wants them trimmed as a condition of sale, do it then.

Oh yeah, if you, or anyone else, is left with extra cable, I could make good use of it in my hacking endeavors...

Thanks,
  Richard

Ok.

I'll leave them as is.
I was just trying to move my sale along by offering a ready made set.

thanks.
