Title: Waves L2 Question
Post by: blu666z on February 23, 2004, 10:38:01 PM
I read the manuals but want to make sure I understand what its doing.

Threshold: -10DB
Out Celing: -.1DB

Levels up to -10DB are raised 9.9 DBs and anything over -10DB is compressed to -.1 DBs?

That sounds right. Check while playing through the plugin in whatever software you're using; it shouldn't be too hard to confirm.

To edit myself a little bit: The second part of your statement is definitely right. Everything over your threshold is compressed to the ceiling. It's the first part I'm not 100% sure about.

hey guys - you've got me curious.  Does this work with CEP 2.1?  I can't seem to get it to recognize the plugin - I tried refreshing and updating my DirectX.  It's listed but greyed out.  It does come up in Wavelab but I prefer CEP.
