Title: Edirol R 09 HR vs Tascam DR 100
Post by: brewcrew87 on April 12, 2011, 01:27:39 PM
im about to upgrade my rig from crap gear (MT II) to something decent- budget is an issue, so i have narrowed my recorder choice down to the R 09 HR vs DR 100- both look relatively the same- i want to be able to record a long set @24/96 that is larger then 2 GB- the MT II limited file sizes to 2 GB

opinions please....which should i get

The MTII can record long sets. It splits the files into 2GB parts, but the whole recording is seamless.

The preamps and ADC in the R09HR and M10 are supposed to be better though.
