anyone have a ton of disposable income want to buy one so that we can hear your live show recordings with one??  ;D

Somebody just offered me a 5.1 model in trade.  I gotta admit it's kind of intriguing.  Has anyone here actually used one?

They sent me a file of info and their DVD sampler with stereo and surround samples when this originally came out a few years back after I inquired and linked to a thread here at TS discussing it.  You might try a search to find that thread.

It's a cool idea that I figured was pretty much a direct extention of the typical HTRF thing done around here, but on listening to their sampler (in both stereo and surround) I was very underwhelmed.  If that's as good as it gets then no thanks.

Makes sense for easy surround capture for video production I guess, but for music no thanks.
