Title: same preamps in DR-100 and DR-680?

are the preamps in a tascam DR100 the same as the preamps in the DR680?
are they also the same preamps that are used in the US1800 interface?

They're different.  The DR-680 mic preamp has much lower self-noise.  See www.avisoft.com/recorder tests for comparison numbers.
