Title: Mic Comp: AKG C-481 vs mod CAD GXL1200 w/mod capsules & stock MXL CR-24p
Post by: Chuck on June 08, 2011, 11:34:28 AM
Here is a microphone comparison I did over the weekend:

http://www.filesavr.com/C7vrMabT

File name: Still_Waters_Comp.zip

The recording isn't very good. But it does show the differences between the three sets of microphones. AKG C-481, mod CAD GXL1200 w/ mod cardioid capsules & stock MXL CR-24p with stock cardioid capsules.

The files are named:

Source 1.wav
Source 2.wav
Source 3.wav

The TXT file tells which microphone pair the files are from. So, if you want to do a blind comparison don't open the TXT file before you listen to the recordings.
