i lost everything on my boot drive on tuesday, and had to install a 'boot' copy of win2k....things are weird on IE for some reason, like it's not loading pages fully (i'm currently typing into a reply bos that is 1/2 inch by 3 inches on my screen, tho the rest of the page loaded fine, smiles and all?????)
also, links on a web page that are supposed to open seperate window (like links here) are not opening up new boxes....
i'm (sadly, for now) running a 733mhz celeron with 320 ram, if that matters
many thanks,
john (pardon the typos, my reply box is only ~ 6 characters wide, like typing in a column.

goto: Tools > Windows Update > run updates on the MS site. there are several critical updates for IE, which will most likely solve your problems.
i run W2k as well and IE6 works well.

friends dont let friends use IE...no seriously
since you are on a fresh install, now is the perfect time to use a different browser like Mozilla!

I use Firefox, but I have to find a WMP plugin for it. I have to admit I haven't really looked though.
