Impact 13' Air-Cushioned Heavy Duty Light Stand - Black, 13'
Regular $69.95 Used $49
Anyone ever use these stands before? Couldn't go wrong for the price.
Also bought two "C" type mic clamps for $9.99 each, much better than sonicsense's $25.
Gonna have to go the the hardware store and buy some aluminum to build an adjustable stereo bar. :)
Cheers,
Travis
JDS and myself have been pimping these since summer!
nice. What do you use to carry this beast around with?

I can't resist...
Your Hands. ;)
Neither can I...
WOW!! Where can I get me some of those? I've heard good things about these "hands"...
As you probably knew, I was wondering if you used a case or anything?
I carry mine in a lacrosse stick bag. Not the best to travel with on an airline (the knobs get the shit beaten out of them) but I can sling it over my shoulder and have the hand free, which is nice. I'm sure there are better solutions out there...

My AEA 15' stand fits into a bag you carry those fold out camp chairs in. One of my chairs broke and the bag fits the stand perfectly.
+T on the find and thanks for sharing.............
Another reason to go up to the Garden
here's (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3800382178&category=30080) a 13 footer for 2 bux cheaper, with cheaper s/h too. its also air cushioned. they have other sizes as well.
i like mine a lot.

That's exactly how I used to carry my big-ass Bogen stand too. I bet we came to that idea the same way, carrying chairs and a stand to a festival when one chair breaks and having one of those Far Side "Say..." moments!
Is a adapter needed on top of the Impact 13' for 5/8" t-bars?
Thanks
