Though I've abandoned Minidisc for recording anything important, I'd still like to use it as a playback device at times.
My question is: If I export, say, ten songs from a PCM-M10 to a Minidisc recorder, how can I get the individual tracks from the M10 to record seperate tracks into the Minidisc and avoid one long track?

If your source recording is already split into tracks, you just have to transfer them to a computer, and use Sonic Stage to transfer to MD (provided your player is a NetMD or HiMD).
Otherwise you're left with analog transfers, which takes longer and degrades quality.
If your source recording is not split, I'd split it on a computer first anyway.
If you really want to transfer directly from M10 to MD, not going via computer, you'd have to split the file on either device and go analog in realtime.
In that case, I would personally just drop $25 or so on a used Sandisk Sansa instead. They support Rockbox, and you could simply pop the microSD card in and listen to your recording: http://www.rockbox.org/

I had to go real time from the M10 to an MZ-R50. The individual tracks became one long track.
So I must get a NetMD or HiMD recorder to do this correctly (via computer & Sonic Stage). Good to know.

I'd think twice before invest money in dying technology unless you can get a player dirt cheap. For playback, a Sandisk Sansa or similar is superior in so many ways: solid state, Rockbox, color screen interface, not having to rely on Sonic Stage for transfers (platform independent drag'n-drop), no need to buy discs, smaller...
