Title: Replacement ROWI plastic thing - am I the only one that keeps breaking these

I just figured I'd ask. 

1. Anyone know where to get the black round piece that goes on the end of the threaded rod?
2. Am I the only one that's broken 3 of these?

If I'm not mistaken these things aren't made any more so I'm not holding my breath for replacement parts, but if anyone knows, it's this crew.

If it's the same size as the threaded rod in a Windtech C clamp you can use the cap from a car tire valve stem.

Not the same but it will keep it from scratching up surfaces you are mounting it on.
