Title: Splitting MP4 (video) file?
Post by: Fatah Ruark (aka MIKE B) on September 19, 2011, 09:13:07 PM
I shot a 24:10 video today and would like to upload it to YouTube.

Can anyone suggest a program that will just chop the file in half?

I tried loading it into Vegas, but the output is degraded. I want the file to be of equal quality.

Either that...or do you know of a place I can upload a 24 minute video? It is 605MB.

I uploaded a couple hour long videos to Youtube a couple weeks ago.  It has been that way for me for a while now.

That being said, a quick search shows a few folks recommending YAMB - http://www.videohelp.com/tools/YAMB

Yeah...that only works if you have behaved yourself. I uploaded a DBT video from ACL...so they won't let me go over 15 minutes.

Giving YAMB a whirl. Thanks.

EDIT: YAMB worked perfectly. Thanks!
