Title: HELP :How to clean up Neumann KM100 connectors and GridS ?

I'm asking for your help to clean up my KM100s

On picture 1, I don't know if it's gold or brass connectors :)

ps: I read something talking about "Deoxit GOLD" what do you think about it?

Unless you are noticing problems with the sound of the microphones, don't do it.

Agreed. Something like that is best done by an official neumann service center.

I thought you just baught those, what happened?

It' was like that when I've bought them  :)
If I when to cleaning up my "new toys" it's maybe better the send them to Neumann Germany (I'm French)

If there's nothing wrong with the sound, you're just throwing money out the window.

Unless they are full of smoke or something, there is no reason to have them cleaned.  Cleaning removes a bit of the gold sputtering and that is something you want to avoid for as long as possible.
