Title: Good websites for mic stands?
Post by: Tye on March 03, 2004, 10:41:05 PM
I'm looking for a compact but tall stand. Any good sites? What do you think of Manfrotto?

I'm a big fan of B+H Photo. Don't know if they have the lowest prices but they rule. Fun place to visit if you're into photography and you're in NYC. They have EVERYTHING.

Here's a post where there's a link to a nice stand on b&H I ordered earlier this week and further down a post about a similiar stand for $2 cheaper with a link to an ebayer who sells some nice stands.

You can check both out and see if the have what you need

Thanks for the info guys.
I just bought a APIC 428 Featherlite 12' from B&H looks like a great little stand. It closes down to 28" ! Most 12 footers I looked at closed down to around 35"-45" here is a linkhttp://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home;jsessionid=AJ42I8Nzz2!-681368864?ci=1&sb=ps&pn=1&sq=desc&InitialSearch=yes&O=SearchBar&A=search&Q=*&shs=pic+featherlite+12%27 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home;jsessionid=AJ42I8Nzz2!-681368864?ci=1&sb=ps&pn=1&sq=desc&InitialSearch=yes&O=SearchBar&A=search&Q=*&shs=pic+featherlite+12%27)
can't seem to find a picture of the whole stand for some reason.
