What microphone is this frequency response chart most similar to?

looks pretty close to a shure sm7b with that drop off

Since it's a B&K spec sheet, it's probably a B&K mic, now made by DPA, www.dpamicrophones.com

Yeah, I got some good info. I believe the mic is similar to, if not the same as, the Nakamichi cm50... a "pinpoint omni" cap on a small body with the battery power at the phone plug end (which is missing in my mic...) Next step, figure out the best method of providing power, plug ends, etc... fun!!! The mics are pretty closely matched (0.6dB) and the frequency charts look pretty much identical and I can't wait to try them out!!! I'll post some info when I learn more for the rest of us DIYers out there!!!

I wouldn't recommend a mic with that response for taping at all. Its 8.5kHz peak is right where essing occurs, and the high treble drops off too quickly.
