Title: Countryman B3 with Zoom H1
Post by: Bolly2007 on October 15, 2011, 07:20:57 PM
I'm new to this forum, and I have had a look but couldn't quite find what I'm after so please be kind if this has already been discussed.

I am want to find a way to run a Countryman B3 with the Zoom H1.

I  undrestand that the B3 need smore juice than what the Zoom H1 can supply so I'm considering an extra power option running off a 9 volt battery

Has anyone tried this?

Can anyone tell me the correct wiring to externally power the B3 - ie, what the RED and BLACK wires are, and how to connect the 9V power

TIA

Most people have these terminated to 1/8" male adapter so they can connect directly to PIP on their recorder and pre-amp/battery box if needed.

If you need information on battery box vs pre-amp, check out this topic: http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=149567.0
