Just looking for anyones input on these caps.
The mk5 is the switchable card/omni and it has a
slight high end rise which looks like it may help
the shortcoming that I hear in the mk4/mk2.
The same is true for the mk21h,in that it has
a slight HF emphasis in the 7khz & above ranges.

sideshowbob on here uses the mk-5's, some really nice tapes have come out of his rig, FWIW, and im not huge on the schoeps

i think that most who use the schoeps subcards on here, uses the mk21, not the 21h. talk to boswell, pretty sure he had a chance to pick up the mk21h's for a good price and decided to hold off for the regular 21's.

I thought that you really liked your experience with the mk21's last summer. I transferred your Little Rock show (tapes via Trey) and thought they were great.
