What all will i need besides the stand and mics to get all four mounted on the same stand? What is the best way to set it all up?
-
You could use a wide tbar with multiple mic attachments. Or you could use a separate tbar mount for each pair - attaching one mount to the top of the stand, while clamping the other tbar to the stand itself.
-
If you mean just two pairs of mics, the easiest is to either put one set on top and clamp right below it, or just use two clamps.
I like the ultraclamp for this purpose - extremely lightweight and good for stand clamping. Also highly adjustable, and cheap.

Heck, Cliff (dallman) forgot his shock mounts and vertbar we strapped his Gefells onto my Neumanns and used the same set of shock mounts :o
Surprisingly the results were stellar.

^^ It really depends what you want to do. If you want 4-across, then OOK's suggestion is the right one.
I was thinking more in terms of where you'd want the mics aligned in the vertical rather than horizontal plane. For that, obviously, you need clamps.

What is the best way to set it all up?
What's your purpose and why are you using 4 mics? Redundancy? Surround?

Thanks for all the responses... looks like the easiest way would just to get a 4 mic t-bar!!! Thanks again for the help!
