I'm looking for a way to play back 24/96 from my powerbook... i know the vxpocket doesnt go that high and the ua-5 resamples as it goes...what do people suggest?
-
what would you use on a windows laptop? you can probably use the same here
m-audio stuff, egosys, multiset, etc
-
not sure! ill have the ua-5 but i know that resamples... really would prefer if my d/a would do the resampling
-
does the ua-5 resample output though? i'm not sure about that one
-
you know i dont know. i guess a viable option for me would be the mini DAC and then i wouldnt have to worry about it at all
-
you could use an EMI 2/6. I am using it with my ibook for a few days without any problems
-
is it capable of handling 24/96 cleanly over usb?
-
for what it's worth I was reading in the newest edition of mac Addict that there is a firwire chip upgrade that is comming that will allow for 24/96 7.1 stereo output over the firewire.
