Anyone used one of these? I have one now and don't know how to use it properly.

PM Dr.Fob (http://taperssection.com/index.php?action=profile;u=2886), I've seen his once or twice.

It should come with an AC power supply that has a variable pattern pick up and a cable. Adjust it to the patten you want to run. The cable is multi-pin and very fragile. Be careful when plugging it in and unplugging it.
Other than that, it is a pretty straight forward mic to use and sounds freakin great. Your going to love your new mic!

i got the one without the ac power supply. each capsule has its own pattern selector and they can be rotated against one another.

Oops, my comment was for the SM69. The USM is a self contained unit and has all adjustments on the body of the mic. So rotate caps, set patterm, plug into your favorite pre-amp with phatom power and enjoy!
