Title: Ca-14 with stc 9000 pre amp?

I am considering upgrading my gear, at the moment I've got ca-11 with the 9000 pre-amp. Will the 9000 pre-amp work properly with the ca-14 cards? Due to fonds I'm not able to upgrade the pre-amp also.

Also which cable would you recommend for connecting my edirol with the pre-amp?

No problems what so ever with any of my preamps powering any of my mics.
