You'll need one of these:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/546493-REG/Manfrotto_088_088_Female_1_4_20_to.html

right on thanks! ;D
daum stand broke last night at leftover salmon show

The AKG stock European photo is misleading, here's the description:
The 23550 Adjustable Microphone Bar from K&M is an adjustable microphone bar that connects to the top of a microphone stand. This unit will accommodate up to (2) microphone or booms. It features 5/8" locking screws, which allow you to adjust the position of the microphones on the bar.
So you'll need to go from 1/4" to 5/8"
-
actually that T Bar comes with a 3/8'' male to 5/8'' female adapter (at least mine did)
but you will need two 3/8'' female to 5/8" male adapters
-
I have this one:
http://produkte.k-m.de/en/Mic-stands/Accessories/23550-MICROPHONE-BAR-black
I thought they were the same at a glance, but the descriptions are different ??? Mine has the 3/8 in the middle to mount to the stand.

I ordered the one he linked last year, it was all 5/8". I was looking for 3/8" like the picture for my Rycote INV shocks and didn't want the extra weight of the 5/8" threads, they're solid and heavy. When it arrived I complained that it didn't match the picture so they sent adapters for free but I never use it. Should have just returned it since it isn't what I was looking for at all. If someone has the 3/8" variety and would like the 5/8" version, I'd be glad to trade.

i was going to say, the picture doesn't look like 5/8 at all
here is the one i have which is 5/8 and you can clearly see the whole is larger http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/286149-REG/AKG_KM235_1_KM235_1_Stereo_Microphone_Bar.html
i like this one much more then the straight bars myself and it would fit without adapters to the stand based on the specs posted at B+H

I have and use both the K&M 23550 and AKG KM235/1 microphone bars and, personally, prefer the K&M bar. YMMV. As darby mentioned, the K&M bar also comes with a 3/8'' male to 5/8'' female riser which is a nice thing to have. The 5/8" locking screws that DigiGal references are the ones on each of the thumbscrews that you screw into whatever microphone mount you're using; 5/8" is pretty much universal for any mic mount: shock mounts, clips, etc. What I would suggest is getting a Manfrotto Rapid Adapter (#014-38) (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/546490-REG/Manfrotto_014_38_014_38_Rapid_Adapter.html). The threaded bolt on top will screw right into the K&M bar and then the Rapid Adapter will plug onto the stud on the top of the stand. You can turn it freely and lock it down to suit your needs. I can post pictures if you need clarification.

So I guess my qwuestion is what tbar fits that stand?
Get one with either no threaded top, or one with 3/8. Makes life easier. I have a Mannfrotto, but I'm coveting the premium Avengers with the adjustable leg. I'll find links when I get home.

Corey, I'll try and break this down for you simply because it's getting confusing. :-\
1) Look at THIS PIC (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=ProductDetail&A=showMultipleImages&Q=&sku=253067&is=REG) (The 3rd one in) of the threaded tip of your stand. It's 1/4" wide.
2) No t-bar will fit direct on that stand because all t-bars center mounting holes that I know of are either 3/8" or 5/8" round.
3) The bar you linked to is a 3/8" center hole. It's the same one Bryonsos and Darby have.
4) If you get that stand and that bar here is what you WILL need to get also.
a) Manfrotto Rapid Adapter (#014-38) (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/546490-REG/Manfrotto_014_38_014_38_Rapid_Adapter.html) which has the 3/8" threaded tip. This will go right over the whole top of your stand.
Then the t-bar will screw directly onto that Rapid adapter. Easy as pie.
b) Get TWO of these THREAD ADAPTERS (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/232829-REG/K_M_21700_000_01_21700N_Threaded_Adapter.html) to fit your mic holders/clips/shockmounts on the two 3/8" threaded screws that are on the actual bar. These convert the two screws on the bar
to the exact thread size that will screw into the bottoms of your mic holders/clips/shockmounts which are 5/8"
5) Darby's picture above shows the Rapid Adapter's 3/8" threaded tip going straight into his t-bar with a 3/8" ctr hole.
This will be exactly what you will be doing.
3/4 of the sites have that t-bar listed wrong. Get it from full compass because they have it listed right.

^^What he said. I'll still put up links to stands after I listen to how my pull from tonight came out :)

Well done, Todd, and nicely clarified. The only thing is your point 4b: the K&M 23550 bar already comes with two thread adapters that screw onto the thumb screws on the bar to lock them in place. At least the K&M bar did when I bought one. Then again, having a few more thread adapters on hand, especially for just another couple dollars, is not a bad thing. :)
-
This is the one I covet:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/611468-REG/Avenger_A0035B_A0035B_Baby_Alu_Stand.html
This is the one I have:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/546527-REG/Manfrotto_367B_367B_Basic_Light_Stand.html
Nothing wrong with the one I have, but the Avenger is way sturdier, and the leveling leg is great for outside.

Gracias!
The weird thing about that is it lists the same bar, same part number differently on various sites.
So I just went to the actual K&M site and got the actual # which is 23550 and shows it with 3/8" mic screws.
The pic on the B&H site acttually shows the mic bar flipped over so you only see the mic holder screw knobs not the threading.
The only thing consistent about this is the inconsistency ;D
