I just picked up http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/644444-REG/Manfrotto_1004BAC_Alu_Master_3_Riser.html this Manfrotto stand.
Wow, am I impressed with the quality. Of course I know Manfrotto makes high quality equipment, but this thing is a work of art.

Yup, I got one of those a couple of weeks ago, and it's very nice for flying your mics high. Keep in mind that the built-in stud's threads are 3/8", and it only comes with a 1/4" adapter, though. If your mounting bar(s) are 5/8", you'll need an adapter.
