Post by: bluntforcetrauma on March 20, 2012, 11:34:21 PM
Hello I just got a r-05, and like the eidorol r-09 after 2gb file size auto split occurs, but is it seamless?

I dont  see anywhere in the manual stating that file split is seamless.

please help and advise

thanks

Seamless as in you dont notice it, or seamless as in it doesnt drop *any* samples?

It seems to me the wave endings match perfectly and there is no evidence of putting 2 files together, so that is my experience. However, I almost always reformat before a show. If I had an almost full 32gb card, would it still be seamless? I don't know, I have never tried that scenario.

fair enough. have you tested it with a test tone or just at a show? No harm in doing one over the other per se, but one leads to a better test is all.

No only in the field. I have never run test tones.
