Sorry to say, Mr. Sengpiel died about two weeks ago in Berlin. His Web site is still available, and I imagine someone will take over its maintenance since it has become a valuable, world-wide resource.

Sad to hear.  And I'll chime in that his website, along with sage advice from TS members finally helped me understand Stereo Zoom technique.

Sorry to read this. A true loss for the audio community. After referring to his website for years, a few months ago I sent a note thanking him for how that resource has helped me better understand and leverage so many aspects of the engineering behind the art.  He (or someone answering feedback to the site) graciously wrote a very nice and informative response.

Sad news, for sure we've lost another one of the audio greats.
