Title: I'll record a Taiko show this Saturday
Post by: SpokenMagicSpells on March 22, 2012, 09:10:48 AM
Hi!

What's the best mics/setup in order to tape a Taiko show?

Taiko  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiko)is a kind of Japanese musical show made basic by drums instruments. 100% acoustic.

Thanks.
Regards.

I would run one of your omni pairs on stage if they'll allow it.

I would too. Have fun! Taiko is a really cool thing. We have a group coming to my school later this year and I'm planning on recording them too.

Taiko is LOUD. Mic-->battery box-->Line-in. And keep the input level low because taiko has SPIKES!!!!
