Hello:
Wanna do some IEM test tapings, perhaps making afterwards a MIX with my usual taping equipment
Recommended device, the the Sennheiser G3 using the B band
But. also I have found some tapings done with the Icom R6
Before a final decision Im stronlgy to get the G3 but I have some questions:
The G3 manages stereo output, but!!! what if at this particular show, a Mhz band is not covered by it? Im screwed?
The Icom R6 I have read that covers a full bandwit, for sure I wilkl catch a signal right? but in Mono
Should I go with the G3?
or Any other recomnendation?
Thanks!!!
Ed

This can only end well.

I think there are some production people here who are more familiar with wireless systems, but my question would be why do you use wireless? You have a risk of interference with any wireless devices that the production is using. Spend the money on microphones and other gear. And cables.

If you are wanting an IEM system - the EK 100 G3 is NOT suitable - it's not a headphone output. You need the EK 300 IEM G3 for this.

Yes the EK 300 misstyped, i have corrected 300
