I posted a few photos in the Team Milab thread here (http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=153650.msg1966065#msg1966065), but I'm still looking for the best way to mount my new VM-44 links.
The INV-1 and INV-4 recommended by Rycote both have dual 9.5mm lyres, and use a sleeve for mounting the mic. From memory, I think the Milab have a collar closer to 12mm than 9.5, but the lyres are fairly elastic. Does anyone know how long the supplied sleeve is (or distance between lyres) on the INV-1 or INV-4?
I have also made up a DIN/ORTF mount to hold the Milab links. These photos show my mount which might fit better in the INV-10 than in the diy mount with dual 20mm lyres. The heavier lyres and square shape of the INV-10 might make it a sturdier fit. Any thoughts?
