That looks cool.... I still would love to hear a set of CM3's
OOK

At some point I made a half-hearted attempt to buy a QM12i Quad. Unfortunately, I never heard back from LA. Anyway, the OM1 looks neat, nice and small.
-
Hi folks, I've been asked to come and join back... I though Tapressection had vanished! I see it's alive and well.
So regarding Line Audio, the OM-1 will be in stock later this month but as far as I'm concerned my small stock is presold... I should get more from Sweden around August.
Re: the QM12i as well as the ST and SM models... they will most likely end up being replaced with new, lighter, smaller designs. No idea on price or availability. For now, they're unavailable and will be for some time.
Hope this helps.

I know there has been lots of talk about the OM3 here over the years. I think US based tapers were reluctant to purchase them because it wan't easy to get a hold of the guy that makes them and there was worries about VAT fees etc... If someone in the US starts stocking them, I bet they will sell.
-
There's no VAT but in some states there could be import duty. But it's a small % and we're talking small amounts so it's not a problem - basically what you'd expect to pay in state tax.
Wasn't there someone stocking Line Audio in the states, or ws it in Canada... I'll se if I can find it.
-
Ah, I thought it was 1100 USD or so... so far all the CM3's I've sent to the US were delivered without further tax on delivery, value is always way under those amounts anyway.
Oh, I checked the reseller's location I metioned, he was in Canada... I'll ask Line Audio if they have anyone in the US right now.
-
Reply from Line Audio: no, no USA resellers at the moment. Dealers who'd be interested can contact Line Audio for dealer pricing and terms.

I got some information from Roger Jönsson, the man who runs Line Audio here in Sweden. Production will start soon, still waiting for capsules. Right now, there is a large demand for the CM3. Something like 20-20000 Hz within +- 1dB can be expected from the 10 mm capsules.
Roger (not Jönsson!)

My CM3's are on the way, (but you might hear them on a band concert) ;D
