Title: What limits is everyone using for the Min-me???

What  compressor limit settings (if any) are people using for the mini-me

it's none, soft limit, soft limit compression with the 1,2, & 3 curves. Also, anyone palyed with the "push-it" settings?


I'll be taping my first show on Wednesday and could use all the help.

I have never used it so i couldn't tell you what to use.  If it was me i would not turn it on.  If you just got the mini-me the only thing i could tell you that helped me out was to change the internal jumpers.  I had all kinds of problems with clipping without them moved.  Since the change no problems at all i run the mme super hot and can't hear and audible clip

if you run anything, only run the soft limit. the other options are really designed for studio use only.

I would only use the soft limit if the crowd was going to be substantially louder than the music, ie. acoustic music. Other than that I wouldn't sweat it... you can run the minime pretty hot and not get audible clipping. A few flashes of red are okay.
