Hey, just thought I'd pass on this amazing deal to any interested tapers... I just purchased a refurbished JB3 from Creative Labs direct on ebay, which normally they put up for a buy it now option of $179.99 US. I was told a coupon code that would get me 25% off my order. So I entered the code, not expecting it to work, but it did!!! I ended up getting $45 dollars US off the final price... so that means a buy it now of a refurb new JB3 from Creative for $134.99 USD!!!!! If you're ever thinking of making the switch from DAT to JB3, now's the time folks.. here's the coupon code, you enter it just before submitting your order...
Code: AFL030425
I hope this helps many low-income folks like myself get into taping in the digital world.... peace.

Oops, sorry, didn't see that. Well, either way, what a deal.
-
Its cool, just thought Id let you know!
-
Just so ya know, those are refurbs, not new. Only the 40 gigs are new. YMMV.
-
FWIW, id have NO fear buying a refurb, cause i did!!!
-
btw, did anyone else notice they got 25 bucks in creative cash when using this as ewll? beyond the discount, apparently the email i got said i had 25 bucks in creative cash in my account. If they ever get the jb3 batts in stock again then ill have to buy another one from them. so heres the real question- where does everyone get their batts for the jb3?
-
usually buy it now on ebay for like 35 bux!!
-
I also got mine of ebay. Keep an eye out of seller (ubidupay!)...he usually puts up 1 or 2 batteries every 24hrs. I got mine for $19.50 plus $8 shipping. Hell of a deal!
-
You also have buy.com if they ever get any back in stock.
-
Another popped up just now.
I guess its random.

coup says 3/22/04 -- Mmm, is it a spoof ?
$180 for a 20GB JB3 ain't too shabby, but $140 is better still.
Call or e-mail Creative and give 'em some resistance.
