Hi, I have a ton of shows that I have two digital sources for. I've never done a matrix...anyone have any links or thought on how to go about this?
I have adobe audition to work with...
Last night I loaded two wavs of the same show and cut them at the same point at the beginning and lined them up..
Seemed to work for about 3/4 the show..but by the last songs it was off about .08 secs...which gave it a reverb like sound...
Do I have to do it song by song? can I stretch or shorten the wav?
Are there any tutorials on the forum? or threads you can point to?
Is there an easy way to do this that I'm not thinking of?
Thanks in advance for the help!

See the sticky thread at the top of the forum for a couple links to threads discussing different methods for mixing two sources.
Before you put the effort in, though, think about what you're trying to get out of the mix and whether it's likely to be any better than the 2-ch recordings. I find most 2-ch recordings better than 2 x 2ch recordings, with occasional exceptions in situations where the taper decides up front to mix all four channels and adjusts technique and configuration accordingly to achieve a specific desired result (and even then I think it often doesn't work out).
