Title: Where to buy a hard drive for G4?
Post by: DAT grl on March 17, 2004, 03:33:41 PM
I'm looking to put in another hard drive in my tower, like a 250 gig.  I'm running at 400 mhz.  Can anyone recommend where to buy this?  Last time I bought online I thought the website was Bigdog or something similar sounding but that's not the right one now.  How much should I expect to pay for the drive, and a 512 RAM card too?  Thanks all.

I think it's smalldog that you're thinking of. Check dealmac.com and dealram.com for pricing; I just checked 512 pricing and it's around $100 for PC100 memory. Sounds like we've got the same tower - graphite G4? dealmac.com has a Western Digital 250GB IDE for $140 and a 160 for $70 (damn!), good until 3/20...
