Title: Dumb question about dead rats

Kind of a stupid question...

Is it possible to wear/mount CA-11s with dead rat windscreens in a way that doesn't make one look like a complete dork? I wear my mics by my ears and it makes me look like I have ear hair that's out of control or I have some crazy sideburns. It's not exactly discreet...  I sometimes clip the mics to my shoulders, but then there's a slight compromise in audio quality

 I shoot video with my camcorder or SLR at a lot of shows so I wonder if there's something I could attach to the camera's hot shoe that I could clip the mics to?

Rycote Hot Shoe Extension (http://www.rycote.com/products/accessoriesspares/hot_shoe_extension/) will do it - available in a choice of three lengths and not expensive.

Wait until you're in your 50's.  Afro's coming out of your nose and ears will be normal.
