Title: Possibly useful smartphone apps
Post by: cybergaloot on July 16, 2012, 11:40:47 AM
For your consideration. There are several links on this web page for various audio related apps for Android and iPhones. I loaded a few of the free ones on my LG Lucid phone and they were interesting. I do however wonder about accuracy when you are using the built in microphone on the phone. If anyone had any experience using an external mic with a phone, chime in on your pinions.

Hmmm ... I'll have to monitor the progress on that app.

Here's another Android app worth considering... Gone Mad Music Player.  Handles gapless MP3 and FLAC playback flawlessly.   30-day trial and then $4 to unlock.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gonemad.gmmp&feature=more_from_developer#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEwMiwiZ29uZW1hZC5nbW1wIl0.

I had a couple of quick questions for the developer and he confirmed my questions/concerns and I bought it without even trying it.  Good, inexpensive, software that's well supported will always get my coin.
