Title: Good Phantom Power?
Post by: aberg on March 17, 2004, 10:16:40 PM
I've heard a lot of good things about the Denecke PS-2 for providing inline phantom power to mics.... I've seen it around the new new for $150, which is really high in my opinion. I've seen the Art Phantom II power supply, which as far as I can tell, does the exact same thing, for $42 US on ebay buy it now. Can somebody tell me what the difference between them is.. and whether the ART would be suitable for taping? Thanks..

I had the PS-2......didn't distort the sound or anything, I'd recommend it......if the price difference is that large, I'd be sure to do some extra snooping around!
