CD Wave is pretty easy to use.

Free to try...but you should pay for it if you like it (and you will).

There is probably oodles of advice in the FAQ and elsewhere, but if it's just tracking, I like CD Wave best. You just load the file, find the track split spots, click a button, and export. Super easy!

It's been a while since I used 9.  This will extract tracks as files; the way I do it now:

1  Use "m" to insert markers between tracks (Put one a the start and end too)

2  Then - Special/Regions List/Markers to Regions

3  Then - Tools/Extract Regions

When I used SF9, I then opened the files in CD Architect and built a CD.
SF10 will assemble the extracted regions as a CD. (Don't think 9 can do that).
I operate differently and need the separate files.
Sounds like CD Wave might be for you.
BTW, CD architect allows nice manipulation of tracks; even overlapping, but I'm not perserving whole live shows, just concert selections.

Another CD Wave recommendation. I've got CuBase, WaveLab, Adobe Audition... I still use CD Wave to do track splits. It is fast and easy.

Question on CD Wave. How do you get rid of a missplaced Track Mark?

In the bottom half of the screen, right mouse click on the inadvertant split marker and delete track split.
