Been starting to mix sound locally. I'm pretty small scale nothing more than 10-12 channels so most of the pre's on these boards are lacking. I bring my V2's with me to handle anything that looks like it might clip during the show. I'd sure like to have a 2U mount for them. I have two of them. would love to have 4 outboard pres available.

I used to do the same thing. I always brought along my V3 for the overheads or vocal mics. Never thought to rack it up though...I always just brought it with me in my bag and had it laying on the mix desk somewhere.
You could get one of those 2U rack shelves that you could get at any of the larger music retail stores and zip tie it to it or use double sided velcro tape if the screw holes didn't line up....
something like this http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/UTR1/ (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/UTR1/)

Hmm. One of those and some minni bungi cords might do the trick.
An enclosure attached to that shelf which the V2 slides into snugly with a back that holds it in but doesn't block I/O and some front latches that don't impede control operation, would be sw33t
