Title: Help on removing flickering/cracking sound in recording (using wavelab)
Post by: Chrysler on August 12, 2012, 02:50:20 AM
Where does this flickering/cracking sound in the recording come from?
Was the recorder overloaded? Brickwalling? Mics? Can this be cured?
I use wavelab for mastering.

Snippet:

I don't have this effect on passages that are even louder than this one.

Rig used:
DPA-4021 > MixPre-D > Nagra SD

And how can i make sure this does not happen again?
