anyone know where to buy replacement batteries for nak 300s

If you are in a pinch - or dont want to pay 20 bucks a battery - you can use the 12V Energizer A23 - commonly available at most battery display racks...
You have to roll them with electrical tape to make them fatter - and make a little stilt to raise the spring inside the battery compartment.
But for less than 5 bucks a pair - hard to beat, and worth the extra effort.

I ran these since the mid 90's in my CM100's

Where, I don't see them listed. I see other carbon zinc batts but not the specific eveready 206 model needed for the naks. OOK

RatShack should have them for under $10. Free shipping to your home, too, if you order in store.

Group purchase, anyone?

I actually prefer the new white ones since they actually, ya know, fit in the g.d. microphone ;D

What new white ones?
My new pair of 300's does pretty well with the 206's.
Apparently, Eveready stopped making the 206 last year. That 12 pack is looking more appealing...

I'll have to check for specifics, but the last two pairs I got from RatShack were white and slimmer than the red Eveready ones. The Eveready's always gave me a bitch of a time getting them out of the mics.

If there is another option (white Rat Shacks?), I'm excited to hear about it! Please do check on those, Mr. Porn.

Out of stock, but it's an image at least. Apparently they're Exell, not Eveready:

^Active Auction...they work great...used in my CM100's since the mid 90's

^ So that Duracell will work in the 300 as is?
-
This one is a direct drop-in, http://www.smallbattery.company.org.uk/sbc_a1611.htm
Standard batteries as two Duracell 28L 6V Lithium in series will work too, just as any pair of 4LR44 Alkaline. Diameter is 13 mm (½ inch), need to be put in a tube or just put some tape around them so they stay in place. Will last for 150 hours or so. Yes this will run the microphones on 12 V, no problem with that.
