Hello All,
We are trying to create an interview archive, I was wondering if X-X would be a good lav mic for the setup. Does anyone have an X-X that they could record simple speech with, using a common portable recorder (h4, dr40, dr100, etc)?
Thanks

I assume you mean the Naiant X-X. They require 48V phantom power, which the recorders listed all provide, and based on my experience with them for recording music, they'd be an excellent choice. Here's a sample recording I did with them: http://www.nyctaper.com/2012/09/death-blues-september-4-2012-glasslands-flacmp3streaming/ (http://www.nyctaper.com/2012/09/death-blues-september-4-2012-glasslands-flacmp3streaming/)
