I see that there is a thread down below about external DVD burners. I also have one that is started to fail. I'm thinking I'd also like to jump in to Blu-Ray burning. They don't seem too expensive. Can anyone recommend one that seems to work reliably? I'm guessing a Blu-ray burner would also burn DVDR's?

I plan to start with a PC and eventually use it with a Mac.

Im using an external usb made by BUFFALO.Been using for bluray since 2009 and no coasters or problems at all.
