Title: AKG 460b - older Three switch version
Post by: obaaron on December 08, 2012, 02:19:37 PM
Hey ya'll -[

Does anyone know how to move the switches on the body of this mic, 20db pad, roll off, etc.?  I recently picked it up and apparently its an older model but looks like new.  The switches are are all set to the far right and wont budge.  I dont want to force them too hard and risk damaging anything.  Anyone have this mic that can advise me on the best way to disengage these switches?  I don't need the -20db pad engaged just want it to run with no pad or roll off, etc.  I am assuming these switches all need to be to the left side to run normal?

I can see numbers 1, 2 and 3 on the far right also...

Here is one of these on ebay:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/AKG-C-460-B-Microphone-/261135002503?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&nma=true&si=GPmkYJ5fRw40QlKVIlYkEEieJ1w%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc (http://www.ebay.com/itm/AKG-C-460-B-Microphone-/261135002503?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&nma=true&si=GPmkYJ5fRw40QlKVIlYkEEieJ1w%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc)  (Scroll Down)

Thanks!
