Title: Zoom iQ5 mic for iPhone

Zoom has adopted a "if you can't beat them, join them" attitude.  The company's video recorders are not exactly flying off the shelves, so Zoom took the mid-side mic from the video recorder, and repackaged it as an accessory for the iPhone.  The new product is called the iQ5.  It works best with the iPhone 5 because the mic uses Apple's new Lightning connector.  Price about $100.

6 month later still no signs of a release of the IQ5 in the near future......
Anyway, I got the "Rode iXY" for my iPhone 5.

You can now get the Zoom iQ5 for iPad, iPod and iPhone on eBay for under $100, including shipping.
