I am running Windows 7 on a newer laptop bought last year.
I finally moved into a new place and want to set fourth in transferring all of my shows I recorded on Mini Disc to the hard drive as WAV and ATRAC files.
Several years ago I bought the now impossible to find Sony MZ-M200 that allows the lossless transfer of ATRAC files. One big problem is that the laptop will not identify the MD player.
I have about 50 shows I taped with my Mini Disc recorders and most haven't been circulated yet. I intend to torrent and can transfer the data on my old PC but would rather used the quicker laptop.
Anyone have suggestions??

Will it work on an XP machine? You should be able to run virtual XP on the Windows 7 machine, I think.

Yes. My old PC is an XP.
Please link how to run virtual XP on my laptop. Thanks! 8)

Never done in myself, but lots of Google hits with instructions. Here is one from MS themselves.

You need SonicStage 4.3 Ultimate Edition. Is your Win 7 64 bit? There's also drivers available somewhere on this forum http://forums.sonyinsider.com/topic/12903-sonicstage-43-download-links/
I can't pinpoint them at the moment, but if you can't find them I can upload them somewhere for you.
