Title: 2013 Grammy Winning Recording Engineers to Conduct Recording Demos
Post by: drchen on February 24, 2013, 07:41:44 PM
FYI.
I have no affiliation with this event but I thought I'd pass this info along because, for folks in the area, this could be a good opportunity to learn something about multichannel recording, which is my newest taping-related interest and the way of the future I think.
I know that when I experience a good multichannel (surround) recording I don't want to go back to stereo.
The speakers have recorded and mastered Patricia Barber in 5.1; their artistry/talents have earned them a Grammy.

JIm Anderson is one of the best recording engineers in the business. Anything head by him should be well worth it.
