Does anyone know where to find the .shn ICO file or the MD5 ICO file so you can associate them with old shn source files on Windows 7 or 8?
I've had XP for years and had to get new pc's. Mkwact audio compression tool is not supported on either OS (neither is Flac Frontend) and I use Trader's Little Helper now anyway, but the shn or md5 icon is now showing as a blank doc file. I was able to get the flac ICO file from a taper I know, but I haven't found anyone who knows where to find these 2 icons.
Any help is appreciated!

Hmm weird. I have Win7 and my shn files show up with mkwact!!!

I actually didn't try it when I got my Windows 7 laptop since I wouldn't be messing with shn files on there or uploading anything from the laptop.
Good news though, since I asked a lot of people I know in addition to posting here and on the etree forums, one guy sent me the actual mkw icon and the md5 icon I'm used to seeing when I had XP, so just like the flac icon I already got from a taper friend, I'll associate these with my shn and md5 files.

Yea I just installed mkwact on my win7 machine and shn/md5 icons appear correctly ;) I don't use shn files much at all, but I make an md5 for every one of my 24bit data WAV DVDs I burn for every set I record!

good to know. My laptop is Windows 7 so I should install mkw on it.
I only need to associate the ST5 icon now on Windows 8 and I'll be all set.
