So i recorded a show a few weeks ago and noticed my left channel running quieter than the right. Figured it was a bad cable. I was putting my finished set up together today and noticed the mount on the capsule that fits into the C300 B body was slightly loose. There are 3 holes on the under side of the capsule that i presume are used for tightening/loosening the capsule. I did snug it up as best I could but was wondering if there is indeed a 3 prong tool used to fix this sort of thing. Also, im thinking the loose capsule was the result of the left channel running quieter. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hi,
The capsule only have one screw (One of the three holes). You need first screw tight the ring with three holes, when the ring is in his place you need screw tight the small screw M1,4x2 (flat head in my capsule)
Good luck

I have the same issue i think.....loose housing on the capsule. Haven't noticed any issues in performance but need to tighten it. Very small screwdriver needed which i dont have

The same thing happens with the ck_x line, screws getting loose, but it has never affected the performance of the capsules.

Is curious, but my old ck92 capsule had a loose screw, this capsule have less sensitivity that my new ck92

Ran the mics lastnight taping a local show...same result. Right channel fine, left channel little to no response. Switched capsules, bodies, cables, PS-2 inputs and came to the conclusion that capsule originally of the left channel is faulty. I tightened everything up today and havent tested it out yet, but Im coming to the conclusion that capsule may be bad as everything was tight before I set up lastnight with the exception of the small screw on the bottom. Screw has been tightened as of today, need to test. Do these capsules go bad and what are my options?

Ran a quick test recording my home stereo cranked up pretty high...same result. Capsule must be shot...

I've found a 1.0 MM slotted screwdriver works well for this, if you own AKG Bluelines it is a good idea to have one. Here 's a link for a nice one made in Germany, Wiha 260 series precision...
