I need to upload 25 songs. The metafile only has 21 fields. How do I add another four fields to enter the songs? :facepalm:

To the question though, I don't understand what the trouble is. Have you already uploaded 21 files, forgot to add the last 4, and now need to add them on?

No, it's weird. I uploaded 25. When I went to the meta-editor (whatever it's called), I filled in the song names, but the fields ran out at 21. Then I checked the encoded flac folder, and depending on how you looked at it, it showed either 21 or 25 files, but I did see it upload all 25; did the checksum.
So I re-encoded them in flac and just now (re) uploaded. We'll see what happens. Thanks for the reply.

Weird. I'm not going to pretend I know much about the LMA, but could you have continued the process with just the 21 files that showed up in the metadata editor, added it the band collection and wait for the page to be created. Then once the main page is up just edit it to add on the last 4 files?

Redid the upload and waiting for it to render, or whatever the hell it's called. Think it should be fixed. I suppose I could have made an error first time around--I guess that's what it usually is.

Ive ULd more than 21 files to the LMA without that error ???

I've gotten in the habit of doing it in 2 steps... I still use the old FTP method, and maybe that's why I don't see all the fields. Maybe the same idea will work for you.
Step 1: Do the upload and fill it what you can. Don't worry about why you couldn't fill in everything. I check the box "DON'T generate MP3s" at this point. Submit.
Step 2: Edit the item, Edit Metadata, and fill in what you couldn't the first time. Now check the box which says "Generate MP3s". Submit.

It was obviously a brain fart on my part, and clearly mostly my error. I reuploaded the files, and all is well. Obviously, the tip-off should have been that if I only got 21 metadata fields instead of 25, the upload was buggered. The whole thing feels easier now. The first time I had to FLAC and generate ffp and md5 files, then upload, I thought, man, this is work. Now it seems pretty quick and fast, since I've gotten a truly broadband internet connection.
Anyway, thanks SM, and everyone. Still learnin'.
