Title: Where do I get MBIT+ Dithering scheme plugin at?
Post by: F.O.Bean on April 24, 2013, 01:11:59 AM
 ??? ??? ??? ???

Id LOVE to be able to use it with WL6. Dont get me wrong, Apogee's UV22HR Dither is awesome and I dont NEED MBIT+, but Ive heard great things about it and would love to add it to my arsenal. WL8 has it standard so it has to be good ;)

TIA,
Bean

To the best of my knowledge, MBIT+ isn't availabe as a standalone plugin and it's only licensed and available through apps like WaveLab, Sound Forge, and Ozone (and probably others).

Thanks Brian! Yeah, I guess its part of Izotope Ozone but I checked IO5 and its not part of that package ???

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it ;)

if you are on a mac (I'll assume you are not) you can use any of the Audiophile engineering software, WaveEditor or SampleManager and the new Triumph. All have Mbit+ licensing from iZotope

We have partnered with iZotope for almost a decade and we are proud to announce that Triumph now includes iZotope’s restoration and repair tools including Declick, Denoise, Declip and Dehum.

Of course, we still include iZotope’s industry best 64-bit SRC and MBIT+ dither. Powered by iZotope, Triumph is the perfect tool for editing, sound design and mastering.

Thanks guys. I ended up getting a copy of sound forge 10 that has it. But could I simply copy the MBIT+ plugin into WaveLab 6 so I can just use it in WL6 ???
